Data Collection

We collect only what we need to run the site and its community features:

  • Account details from your chosen social login provider (name, email address and profile picture). We never receive or store your password.
  • Content you choose to submit: comments, poll votes, likes and bookmarks, together with the IP address the submission came from.
  • Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter. Subscription is double opt-in and every message carries an unsubscribe link.
  • For donations we store only the PayPal transaction reference and the amount. Card and bank details are handled by PayPal and never reach our servers.
  • Standard technical data such as IP address and browser user agent, used for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Data Usage

Your data is used to operate the site, to moderate community contributions, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to keep the platform secure. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your language preference, and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner, and change your mind at any time.
